Jacob R. Wander
Attorney
Jacob Wander is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg’s Justice for Kids Division®, a national practice dedicated to providing legal services to abused, disabled, and catastrophically injured children harmed in foster care, shelters, residential treatment centers, group homes, and other child welfare settings, as well as all children harmed by the acts of others. In this role, Jacob leverages his legal expertise to advocate for vulnerable children and protect their rights.
Jacob’s professional tenure with Kelley Kronenberg began as an intern within two of the firm’s administrative divisions. He later served as a legal intern with the Justice for Kids Division, gaining valuable experience assisting in mediations and depositions, preparing summary judgment responses, performing legal research and writing, and supporting attorneys with case preparation. As a legal intern, Jacob participated in multiple jury trials which resulted in multi-million dollar verdicts.
Jacob attended Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business with a double major in Finance and International Business. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. During his time at Nova, Jacob was actively involved with the Nova Law Review, serving first as a Junior Associate and later advancing to the position of Articles Editor. This experience enhanced his legal research and writing skills and ability to analyze complex legal issues critically. Jacob was also an active member of the Nova Moot Court and the Nova Trial Association, where he gained invaluable litigation skills. Throughout his academic career, Jacob demonstrated excellence, earning numerous accolades, including the Indiana University Dean’s Scholarship, Law Alumni Scholarship, and consistent honors on the Nova Southeastern University Dean’s List.
